New apartments in Barcelona and Paris

We're excited to add some new apartments to our inventory in both Barcelona and Paris. In Barcelona, an owner who we've had a relationship with has added two new places, each a penthouse with an attractive private terrace. Here's a photo of one:

On the inside, the designer owner's touch is evident. Here's the bedroom:

This apartment in the authentic Gràcia district offers a true Like Living There® experience, as it is surrounded by local cafés and shops and is just a long block off of the wide and tree-lined Passeig de Sant Joan. In addition to being the place for a relaxing stroll, this boulevard is peppered with children's playgrounds every other block. A single sofa bed in the living room brings the capacity to three persons.

In Paris we've begun to work with a couple of new owners. One offers this nicely appointed Left Bank one bedroom on a small street near Saint-Germain-des-Pres. It’s just a short walk to many key attractions, such as the Luxembourg gardens, the Louvre, the Musée d’Orsay and Notre Dame. While in an active area, the courtyard aspect keeps things quiet.

Another owner has three apartments near the Eiffel Tower, but just far enough away to avoid the tourist crush. Here's the stylish kitchen area in one:

The inquiry flow has picked up with the spring weather, but unfortunately many are for dates within a few weeks - some even for a few days off from the inquiry date! That makes the selection pretty narrow; which is true at this point through the heavy tourist season that ends after August. In most cases we've been able to offer a few options, but sometimes we can't come up with anything.

Of course we realize there are many other agencies, some with far more listings than Like Living There has, but we're all in the same boat when it comes to last-minute requests. So I'll remind you again; inquire as far ahead as you can. There's no obligation in asking, but if you find something that seems just about right, our advice is to grab it while you know it's available.
